As an artist, works often seem unfinished or incomplete.  I think it needs a motif in the top left corner.  What about a Christmas Beetle?

Collage - is it real art?

Inspired by a triptych in a Braidwood gallery, Edwina Robinson tried her hand at collage, using the eucalypt motif derived from Namatjira's paintings, watercolour and ink grasses, scribbles echoing bark texture and brown paper.

Edwina Robinson finds that one way of extending her technique is to observe the work of famous landscape artists, like Albert Namatjira.

Edwina Robinson is a self taught artist who dabbles in landscapes and patterns.  She likes to experiment with watercolour, waterproof ink, acrylic and collage. 

Feature Artist for May - Julie Delves

Julie works in pastel and water colour and is currently working on a series of works exploring and celebrating trees and natural found objects.

Julie is also interested in the techniques of Chinese brush painting and in the freshness and immediacy of this medium.
